I began editing books in 1998 when I got my first job in publishing at New Rivers Press. Since then I have edited hundreds of titles for adults and children of all reading levels. Books I've edited have earned starred reviews and awards such as the Foreword Book of the Year, the Midwest Book Award, and Learning Magazine's Teacher's Choice Award. Whether it's a picture book for early childhood readers, a chapter book for middle grade readers, or a book for adults (including fiction), my goal is to help publishers and authors create high-quality reader-friendly content. It all comes down to story.
